Getting much praise for his villainous role in his previous work ‘Warrior Baek Dong Soo’, Yoo Seung Ho is ready to come back on small-screen with a completely different character as he has been cast in the upcoming cable fantasy-melodrama called ‘Operation Love’.
The drama’s based on the Japanese popular drama ‘Proposal Daisakusen’ starring Yamashita Tomohisa (aka Yamapi) and Nasagawa Masami. Yoo takes the role that Yamapi played on the original, a man who missed a chance to confess his love and ended up attending her wedding ceremony. Thankfully, he’s given a second chance to undo the past and win the heart of the woman he loves by traveling back in time.
Yoo expressed his thoughts about the character by saying, “Baek Ho (the male lead) has the memories of his first love just like any ordinary guy. The time travel and first love concept of this drama was refreshing and interesting to me.”
The filming is planned to begin later this month once the casting has been finalized. ‘Operation Love’ is aiming for February release.
