The drama that I’m also anticipating in 2011 is ‘Dream High’. It’s because I had put my radar on the drama’s star Kim Soo Hyun who just gets his first lead role chance in the drama. I have been curious about him since I watched ‘Will it Snow at Chrismast?’ in which he played as Go Soo’s youth.
In ‘Dream High’, Kim plays as the rural boy named Song Sang Dom who has a hidden musical talent. The image above is his first still cut released which has drawn much attention from viewers for his strong gaze, despite his shabby clothes and unkempt hair.
The drama aslo boasts of its idol-star lineup, including 2PM’s Taecyeon and Wooyoung, Miss A’s Suzy, T-ara’s Ham Eun Jung, IU, and JOO, as well as Kim Hyun Joong, global soprano Jo Sumi, and Japanese girl group AKB48 as special appearance.
‘Dream High’ will follow Jang Geun Seuk-Moon Geun Young’s drama ‘Mary Stayed Out All Night’ and start airing on January 3.
