Again! Idol stars confirmed their participation for KBS’s upcoming juvenile drama ‘Dream High’. Singers IU and T-ara’s Ham Eun Jung are the next to be added to its cast.
In the drama, Eun Jung will play the role of Yoon Baek Hee, a student that passes flawlesly the audition for ‘Girin Arts High School’ and tranforms from an ugly duckling into a beautiful swan. She’s later described as the biggest rival for Suzy’s character, Hyemi.
Meanwhile, IU will be set to play a supporting character as a singer that is no different with her own real life. There are still no more details about her role, but she’s told that she will do the best for her first acting experience to expand on her skills.
BUT, where are other REAL actors???
Don’t say that Kim Soo Hyun is the only real actor in the cast line-up. I understand that the drama is described as a musical drama that will portray about young people who chase dreams to be a famous star so it need cast that can dance and sing. But, c’mon there should be more real actors to make the drama more solid. Sorry, I have doubt to singer-turn actors, moreover in their first acting experience. (hufth…!) I hope the drama will not be wasted!
‘Dream High’ also starring 2PM’s Taecyeon and Wooyoung and Miss A’s Suzy will start airing in January 2011.

actually, Soohyun’s not only the real actor. Eunjung had already acted in dramas before. She’s even the lead star in Coffee House.
Taecyeon also starred in Cinderella’s Sister. but i still doubt his acting skills.
there’s Yong_sama (Bae Yong Joon) as the director of Girin Arts School..he is a big actor don’t he..??
yup! Bae Yong Joon is also the producer for this drama, therefore he makes a special appearance here, only in 1st-4th episode….
