Looks like rapper-actor T.O.P from Big Bang will most likely return to big-screen a lot sooner than expected. He’s currently considering to play the lead role in the upcoming spy-action movie called ‘Alumni’, a new movie from Into White Night director, Park Shin Woo.
The movie revolves around a young man whose father is a North Korean spy who’s falsely accused for something. But for some reason I don’t get it yet, the son then becomes a North Korean spy in order to protect his younger sister. He infiltrates the South and enrolls at a high school where he meets and falls in love with a troubled female student.
T.O.P has been well acknowledged for his acting quality in blockbuster drama ‘IRIS’ along with frontrunner Hallyu Star Lee Byung Hun and war movie ’71: Into the Fire’ along with top actor Kwon Sang Woo, which also allowed him to grab the Best New Actor Awards for the latter.
‘Alumni’ will start airing in July.
