Oh, looks like I’ve missed the news about Kim Ji Hoon’s army discharge since now I read that he’s already signed on a new weekend drama called ‘My Daughter Soyoung’ which marks as his comeback project in 2 years.
In the drama, he will be reuniting with his ‘Wish Upon a Star’ co-star Choi Jung Won. BUT! They will play as twins NOT lovers. Eeekk! That’s an unexpected, weird setting. He’s described as the peacemaker middleman between his sister and their father (played by Chun Ho Jin).
Also cast in the drama are Lee Sang Yoon (The Duo) who will have a romantic relationship with Choi’s character, Park Jung Ah (Smile Dong Hae) as Lee’s younger sister, and CNBlue’s bassist Lee Jung Shin, who will take his first acting experience through this drama.
Directed by PD Yoo Hyun Ki (God of Study, Brain) and written by So Hyun Kyung (Brilliant Legacy, Prosecutor Princess, 49 Days), ‘My Daughter Soyoung’ will focus on the distant relationship between father and daughter, and their reconciliation. It will premiere on September 15.
