Han Ji Min’s fantasy romance drama ‘Padam Padam…The Sound of His and Her Heartbeats’ is still airing on cable network jTBC, but she’s already been cast in her next project. She’ll be starring in the upcoming sageuk fusion called ‘Rooftop Prince’, which would allow her to play opposite idol singer-actor Micky Yoochun of JYJ.
The role was originally offered to Moon Chae Won, but she refused as she likely doesn’t want to be cast in the similar role thrice after two sageuk hits ‘The Princess’ Man’ and ‘Bow: The Ultimate Weapon’.
The drama is about a Joseon-era crown prince who travels in time to the future and arrives in 21st century Seoul, South Korea with his loyal vassals. In the present time, he then meets a woman whose look exactly resembles with his deceased princess.
‘Rooftop Prince’ is set to release on March 14, taking over the timeslot of SBS’s currently-airing drama ‘Take Care of Us, Captain’.
