So Jin Sae Yeon is not the only female lead in KBS’s action-period-superhero drama ‘Bridal Mask’, recently the drama has also added actress Han Chae Ah (Believe in Love, Style) for the female lead role. Not sure who’s the one that secures the first spot.
Han takes the role of Chae Hong Joo, who’s a singer, gambler, and spy. She’s described as an appealing, multifaceted, colorful character who tries her best to win over the heart of our hero Lee Gang To, played by Joo Won.
The drama itself covers a fiction heroic story set in 1930s during the Japanese occupation, where our hero dons a bridal mask and sets out to fight injustice and take revenge on the Japanese army for the death of his entire family.
Park Ki Woong has also been cast to play the villain in the drama. And actor Shin Hyun Joon will also make a cameo appearance as Lee Gang To’s brother.
‘Bridal Mask’ is set for May broadcast.
