Sigh. Another comeback drama rumor for Big Bang’s T.O.P (Choi Seung Hyun). This time he’s rumored to be cast in the upcoming drama called ‘Celebrity’, which deals with bizarre cases of celebrity scandals.
Last year, he was buzzed to star in Yoon Seok Ho’s new melodrama ‘Love Rain’, new season of mega-hit drama ‘Full House’ with Shin Min Ah, and Korean version of popular Japanese drama ‘Absolute Boyfriend’ with Kim Ha Neul, but it looks like he is most likely to take ‘Celebrity’ as his comeback drama.
‘Celebrity’ follows the story of a woman who was dumped by his idol-star boyfriend, and decides to become a celebrity herself to get revenge, but she then finds herself falling in love with a real top star (played by TOP).
TOP is one of the best idol-actors in the industry. He’s been gaining much praise in both his singing and acting. He made a stunning impressive as a cold-blooded assassin in blockbuster drama ‘IRIS’ and won the Best New Actor Award at the 47th Baeksang Awards for his role in war movie ’71-Into the Fire’.
‘Celebrity’ is aiming for summer release. I hope this one don’t end just only a rumor!
