an It’s been recently revealed that 2PM’s Nichkhun has been cast in upcoming Japanese movie ‘Ouran High School Host Club’, adaptation from popular manga (comic) under the same title by Bisco Hatori. It stars Haruma Kawaguchi, Yusuke Yamamoto, and Shunsuke Daito.
He is set to play a young company president for a Singapore corporation who’s also the older brother of AKB48 member Shinoda Mariko’s character. Evidently, he’ll basically be playing himself, a man with a gentle warmhearted personality, out to steal hearts.
The plot is about a poor tomboyish girl who attends the super prestigious school Ouran Academy with most students coming from wealthy families. Through unexpected circumstances, she ends up joining the peculiar but very popular male “host club”, while hiding her gender.
The drama adaptation also aired in Japan on TBS from July 22 to September 30, while this movie special is set to premiere in March 2012.
